  • Plant natives. Zones 3 and 4 in Minnesota offer a variety of beautiful native plants for your garden.

  • Feed our pollinators . Our pollinators; butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds remain at risk and will continue to have priority in 2021. They are a critical part of the pollinator-plant ecosystem. The main threats facing pollinators are habitat loss because native vegetation being replaced by roadways, crop fields and non-native gardens. Pollinators are losing the food and nesting sites that are necessary for their survival. We are all encouraged to plant a pollinator garden to help our precious friends.
